Dear Management;

I wanted to share with you a  "Satisfied Customer" story.

A couple weeks ago, my daughter and I went into the Gardner-White Furniture store on W. 8 Mile Road looking for living room furniture. (Jessie Turner our salesman) Jessie made us feel like he was truly glad we had come for a visit. He was patient in answering all of our questions, and offered suggestions and other optiong which were greatly appreciated. My daughter had been in the store previously, and purchased furniture and she said both times, Jessie's patience and friendliness each time never wavered. Each time, she got the same professionalism, courtesy and undivided attention - which is why we asked for Jessie when we entered the store.

Not sure if this was part of the job, or just plain courtesy on the employee's part - Jessie sat on the furniture with us and relaxed and gave his personal opinion of our choice of furniture, from a personal standpoint. No pressured sales tactics, no encouragement to buy, just open friendly conversation. His honesty was greatly appreciated!

We had some issues with our delivery time and date - Jessie handled it like a pro. We couldn't have asked for better concern or service. Jessie assured us - if there is anything that could be done - he'd do his best to make it happen - greatly appreciated!

We think Jessie Turner is a valuable asset to your corporation, and I wanted to let you know what a wonderful job he did - and we will definitely come back and look for Jessie with any future purchases - or other family or friends purchases.

Kudos to the Delivery Team!

Dear Paul and Doug,

My name is Sherea Morgan and I'm sending you this memo to inform you both that you have some of the best staff working for you. My husband Ron and I purchased a beautiful bedroom set and it was delivered on Saturday, February 16, 2008.

We received a phone call around 8am that morning from your workers Norm and Terry. They stated that they will be arriving t our home to deliver our furniture between the hours of 2pm - 5pm. They arrived at approximately 2:20pm.

They were some of the most professional and courteous gentlemen that we have come across in a very long time. They set up and moved our bedroom set to our liking.

I just wanted to take the time out to let you know how wonderful of a job that these gentlemen are doing.

The next time we purchase more furniture, which will be soon, I just hope that these same professionals will be delivering our furniture.

Make my Day!!

Nothing makes me happier than receiving comments from happy customers.  Every Gardner-White customer receives a comment card when their furniture is delivered.  Believe me a senior management person and store manager read every  card. Delighting our customers is what we do at Gardner-White.  Here are a few of the comments we received this week:
